We had a fabulous cruise around Italy starting in Savona, down to Naples where we visited the amazing town of Pompeii, then cruised to the Island of Malta and around to Corfu, Greece, onwards to Croatia and then to the amazing, gorgeous Venice, Italy. Our suite looked right down a canal where the gondolas would pass by our terrace with the musicians singing and playing instruments. I never wanted our time there to end! It was so special. We took a private boat to the stunning Hotel Cippriani, don’t miss having lunch there overlooking the water. It was magical. Onward to Lake Garda, then we drove North almost to Austria to go on a wine tour. It was THE most amazing scenery. Just gorgeous, peaceful and quiet. Back to Milan we headed for a day of crash shopping at all the beautiful fashion houses. Oh how fun it was! We dined at the spectacular 4-Seasons Hotel and loved every minute we had in Milan! Onward to England and a huge mega thank you to Richard Davies for collecting us at the airport in London and taking us to our Manor House in the Cotswalds. We had a chance to have a quick dinner with my co-author of Go Diamond, long time friends, Jayne Leach and John Curtis that is always amazing. Jayne and John had just landed that morning from the long haul trip back from Thailand. We had a wonderful 2-Day event for QLS-FLP, no one wanted to leave at the end of the 2nd day…You cannot believe how fired up this team of distributors are. It was 2 days of THE MOST FUN and exciting seminar we have ever done in the world. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this event, the singers, the dancers, the fun, the surprises, the Powerpod leaders, John and Justine, Ron Weinstein, the FLP rockstar, Joe Barradell’s first speech and more. I cannot imagine missing this event! We are almost sold out for 2009! I believe there will be a waiting list soon! Onward to Nottingham we traveled to stay at our favorite Manor House in that area, Langor Hall, it was like coming home. We had our most wonderful suite overlooking a secret garden and acres of the greenest fields dotted with sheep and a gorgeous river where we could spend the crisp days taking long walks, listening only to the sounds of the local birds. It was devine. We loved our time with Paul and Claire Barradell spending hours catching up. We then had a great 2 day event with our long time Kleeneze friends and distributors. Wow! The top recruiter in the entire company for March was in attendance. We just loved our time with Claire and Gilles catching up over dinner and being with all of you once again! Michael Ogden did not miss ONE of the 2-day events in 10 years! WOW! You are all so special to us! In the meantime I cannot tell you how many new myspace.com and facebook friends we now have!
We finished in Nottingham and traveled down in the midlands over to Sonning, UK near Reading and stayed at the gorgeous French Horn Manor House with our suite looking straight down the Thames River. So, so pretty! We popped on the fast train to London and took in the brilliant play, Gone With the Wind and lunched and shopped at the ever exciting Harrod’s phenomenal department store. London was packed with more shoppers than I have seen in all of our years here. It was a beautiful day, the parks were overflowing with families, the shops and theatres and pubs and cafes were elbow to elbow! Thousands of people out and about! Such an exciting city!
A huge thank you again to Richard Davies who drove us 2 hours to Wales yesterday to attend the 70th birthday party of our long time dear friend, Bill Wood. Oh my gosh! It was so fantastical! A beautiful marquee on the grounds of the estate of Jayne and John, great food, loads of laughter, great music and dancing, fireworks and magical moments created that I will never forget! Family and close friends, a tour of Jayne and John’s mansion that is so beautifully decorated, wonderful memories of once again watching their children and grandchildren growing up. We didn’t want the evening to end. There is no way to outdance Chris and Alan Goldsbrough! They should be on dancing with the stars!
We are now headed to Bracknell, West of London for the rest of this week. We have a 2-day event coming up sponsored by Knowledge is King where many companies will have top distributors attending and then Sunday a one day event sponsored by Knowledge is King. We have almost 700 MORE distributors to spend time with this week alone!
It’s been a wonderful trip and we have loved every minute of it. We are thrilled to be coming back yet again in 2009!
