Thanks Jan. Just got home We had a great weekend in Orlando as I told everyone on the powerline. I am so excited about all my new recruits and their recruits. We have some amazing women joining our team, they are passionate, excited and want to work the business!! They are coachable, which is one of the keys to success. There were tons of families in Orlando for the weekend. We handed out so many business cards, recruiting flyers and spread the word about Discovery Toys in Orlando this weekend. Like you said, the economy doesn't seem to be down at all. People were out at Disney resorts where we were, Downtown Disney and all the restaurants. I showed Gail, one of my new recruits and rising stars, how you taught me to hand out business cards in restaurants. We ate dinner the other night at the House of Blues, how fun. There was a large table already seated next to us when we were seated with the two cutest babies at each end of the table. With business cards in hand, I quickly gave one to the mom of the first baby as she was talking to the father. I just laid the card down on the table in front of her as we passed by, did not interupt their conversation and sat down at our table. I noticed they picked up the card and read it, then turned around and looked at me. I told them that I sold children's educational toys and to please check out our website. They said thanks. Then I spotted the other mom and baby at the other end. I got back up and took her a business card. I said I don't want to leave you out. It was really cool, because she read the card and then passed it down the table to each family member. Who would of thought selling toys and recruiting was that easy?? Jan, you are the master and thanks again for all you teach us daily. I have learned so much from seeing you in action just the few times I have been to visit you. Hi Jan,

I have a simple question and would be very grateful for a short reply. I
know you probably get lots of emails like this.

You say you made 30 phone calls a day, so I guess these must have been
mostly cold calls - unless you have soooo many friends!! If so, did you
have a strategy for choosing who to call, and where to find these people
to call. I'd love to learn a numbers strategy I could put to work, mine
seem so hit and miss, for example phoning just anyone out of the yellow
pages. I just wondered therefore what it was you did exactly.

My friend works with FLP and has recently shown me your It's About Time
book which I think you have created in a superb fashion. I am about to
start my final year to qualify next summer as a Homeopath, for my final
project I would like to incorporate an area of NLP (another huge interest
of mine), flicking through your book inspired me to want to write in a
similar fashion, a book based on an area of Homeopathy, there is nothing

Hi Jan, I attended your training day at the Blue Mountain Golf Club in
England and found it inspiring. On the strength of that I bought MLM Nuts
and Bolts which is just awesome. I came home from your training to find
theat my neighbour down the road, on the face of it a fairly affluent
young lady with two small kids, had signed up with Virgin Vie. I had not
mentioned to her what I was doing niether did I think she would be

Myself and one of my soaring eagles Tina Kilgallon who was with me at your Conference, have been spreading the word. I think you may be very pleasantly surprised that we have managed to get at least 28 Associate Leaders from Mini IQ who have pledged to come along next year. Some of whom I know have already booked with Paulo.

Some of us at Mini IQ are just beginning our journey, but with many of the Leaders having just returned from an Incentive Trip to Washington DC last week, I know many of them are now thinking at least a 'little' bit bigger than before if not a 'whole lot' bigger.

The continuing training from speakers like yourself will only reinforce the opportunities that they have and what they can do with them if only they focus and commit.

It was so good to see you recently, I'm only sorry that we didn't get more time to talk.

Wherever I go I keep hearing people talk about the power of the Jan Ruhe training that they'd been on, whether the weekend or other trainings. What a weekend that was, amazing. You were awesome, definitely the best yet. I'm loving your book, well done yet again.

I met up with Cathy Holdsworth on Thursday at an event at our head office. I mentioned to her that I owed you an email and she asked me to send you her best wishes. The poor girl is not in a good place at the moment. She's been really glad of the love and support that she's had from her colleagues in FLP. Unfortunately, my husband forgot to fax them in on Friday(they were resigns) and didn't tell me until this morning after I spoke with Dean. What an amazing team you are. No less than ten Distributor couples in the group have qualified for the Silver Post Rally trip, which this year is to the magnificent Casa Magna resort complex in Puerto Vallarta on the Pacific coast of Mexico. That means 10 of the top 250 or so Distributor ID's from all around the world are in the Freedom Group and Maria's Power Team, wow!

There's a lesson to be learnt from all of this. I would say to you in the words of Winston Churchill "Never, never, never give up" on somebody. If I had not persevered with a Nigerian doctor whom I met in Solihull, none of this would have happened, and I mean really persevered. We had seemingly endless meetings with both he and his wife, who was a Vet like Ann, despite the fact that he wouldn't try any product or come to a Business Presentation.We persisted just because he seemed to be a good quality prospect. I also persevered with Maria because, like lots of people, she just didn't see it to start with. I had to gently and respectfully, but firmly, insist that she came to meet Jayne Leach and Dorothy Wood a couple of times. Please remember this when you are following up, it is not just your life that you could change but the lives of countless thousands of others, that you can touch for the better, indirectly. What motivates me in this business is no longer the money, although that is wonderful. What motivates me is the gift, that we all have (given to us by Rex Maughan) to change peoples' lives for the better.

I was deeply honoured to be invited to attend Maria's daughter, Winifred's, traditional African wedding in December, where there were 1,500 guests. I am also attending Winifred's church wedding in Lagos in July, along with John and Jayne, where, I understand, there will be 3,000 guests. This has all been made possible, largely because of FLP and all that Clem and Maria have built with it. They are to be congratulated. I don't say it often enough, but I am enormously proud of them and what they have achieved, and also proud to call them my friends. I'm also proud of each and every one of you in the team. It is a pleasure privilege to work with you. I am so looking forward to seeing many of you at the African Rally in Nairobi on 11th and 12th July and at the QLS training in Lagos the following weekend, that John and Jayne are very kindly putting on (a huge thank you to them). To me John and Jayne epitomise what Forever is all about. Most of the team in Nigeria are out of their payline BUT they are prepared to put themselves out to give a day's training. John and Jayne, we are all so proud to be part of the QLS Group around the world, you are amazing leaders and an inspiration to everyone, for the right way to build a business and a great example of how to give back, thank you.

As though that wasn't enough, we then have a whole day's Jan Ruhe training for the Power Team, that Maria has organised for Monday 21st July in Lagos, which will be brilliant, after which I shall collapse onto a plane at midnight, to head back to the UK!

If you haven't read Jan's latest book "It's About Time" please do yourself a favour and get it. I think it's one of the best personal development books that I've ever read, and I've read hundreds. I also think that it's the best book that Jan has written so far. You will probably know that her "MLM Nuts and Bolts" was Maria's blueprint for success when she first started out seven short years ago. Do get, read and apply "It's About Time" www.knowledgeisking,co.uk I've given a copy to a number of my frontline managers.

I've grown to love Africa and its people and I am so looking forward to spending two weeks with you all in July.

So to recognise the qualifiers at 2,500cc:

Maria and Clem Idigo have qualified at 7,500 cc (wow) and so attend the Eagle Summit as well. That is for all those distributors from around the world who have achieved over 7,500ccs. Last year there were just 40 of them, so well done to Clem and Maria, you are truly la crème de la crème. They are going out a few days early and the company is helicoptering them to the bottom of the Grand Canyon where they will camp in traditional Native American wigwams and then they will follow the course of the mighty Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. Ann and I landed there by helicopter once a few years ago and it is spectacular, truly one of the wonders of the world (Maria is, sensibly in my view, avoiding the camping bit, but tells me that she's sending Clem!!), Forever are then taking them to Sedona to a five star resort for the Eagle Summit proper. The Eagle Summit is a bit like a world version of the President's Club here. The company listens to their advice and discusses future plans and issues with them. Then they will all then join the rest of us at the Rally and 30th Birthday celebrations in Phoenix.

Alphonse Chilato just missed 7,500ccs by 300 cc, bad luck Alphonse, but you will do it next year. Bill Wood our upline also just missed it by 200 cc, bad luck Bill, I'm sure that you'll do it next year as well.

Beatrice Mumba and Ricky Renson also qualified at 5,000cc as did John and Justina Ekperegin, huge congratulations to them.

Both Oma and Tony Attah and Ann and I did over 4,000ccs, we'll all make the 5,000 level next year.

May Munuo, Lightness Salem and Kishe Haule from Tanzania qualified well in excess of 2,500cc. From Nigeria Kikelomo Apeji has also qualified. I believe that there are still more from Nigeria but I don't know their names. Congratulations to you anyway and please do let me know who you are so that we can recognise you too.

The first time qualifiers amongst the above will experience the traditional Post Rally tour with Rex, stopping at, I believe, The Mirage in Las Vegas for a couple of days as well as taking in a show and visiting Cottonwood Cove, one of FLP's wonderful watersports resorts on the Colorado River, (we were taken there six or seven years ago you'll have a ball) and visiting the Grand Canyon as well as Robson's Honey, the aloe fields (and no doubt enjoy a traditional Mexican fiesta). You'll also visit Home Office, the new manufacturing facility in Dallas and Southfork Ranch. You will have enormous fun, but it won't be a rest cure!

If you haven't yet qualified for the International Rally, do put it in your goals and plans for this year. The qualification runs from April 2008 until March 2009. You need 1,500ccs to qualify for the traditional Post Rally Tour. It is perfectly achievable if you visualise it and set your goal and create a plan. It is the action that you take each minute, each hour, each day, each week and each month that builds into an unstoppable momentum towards your goal, BUT you have to have the intention and a plan. If you don't know how, then go upline until you find someone who does. In the words of Jan's book "Its About Time," certainly for some of you, may good luck and our good wishes go with you on the exciting journey, all you have to do is to decide to.

You are all amazing people, without exception. Thank you for being in our team and in our lives, it makes me feel very humble. It is a privilege to know you.

I'm looking forward to seeing many of you at the African Rally in Nairobi on 11th and 12th July and more of you after that in Dar-es-Salaam and also Lagos the following weekend.

I just want to thank Jan for the inspiring story about trying to book parties over the years in her neighborhood. It's nice to know that you go through the same things that we go through--the rejections, etc. (if they only knew what we knew, right?) I guess I thought that someone like you would have a "waiting list" for parties because of your expertise and everything you've accomplished, and it is actually nice to hear that you experience the same day-to-day struggles that we all do--no matter what our title or rank. On the other hand, it is so nice that you share these experiences with us. It shows that we all have to keep at it and never give up. You could have easily just given up on your neighbors, but you didn't. It makes me want to go out tomorrow and ask everyone in my neighborhood. I guess I "just assume" that everyone knows what I do and that I'm looking for parties and recruits because I have my magnet door signs on my van and I've done the door-hanger thing and!

I have just been reading "It's about time" and reflecting on what I gained from the weekend with you and how I have put that into practice over the last month.

Your training couldn't have come at a better time. I have been with Forever for 3 years but never fully commited to the business. I had just decided that I needed to stop messing about and start making the most of the opportunity I've got. But I had lost my way, was feeling frustrated and lacking in confidence. You helped me put everything into perspective. I took a good look at myself and resolved to make the changes needed to be successful.

I have started to work my business properly and consistently - I still need to step up my activity further - I've set some big goals for myself - and I am going to achieve them.

STILL MAKING THE DREAM WORK AFTER 85 YEARS
The sun was shining down on Distributors all over the country this weekend as they came
together for what was an winning event for Kleeneze’s Anniversary. No one could have
predicted that quite so many of you would have taken to the streets of your hometowns, with
your teams, to spread the word that this really is the best opportunity out there. It really has
been an unimaginable success.
Our 85th Anniversary weekend is going to produce immense results. Already we’ve heard
that you have created a huge amount of leads with this concentrated effort and it’s only a
matter of time before you’ll see the impact on your businesses.
But it wasn’t just the business side of things that made this weekend such a success. It’s
been great for us at EWB to receive all of your stories and pictures and know that this has
been a brilliant weekend for teams up and down the country in terms of motivation and
inspiration as well.
Whether you were bonding over your breakfast bacon butties or sizzling in the evenings, you
have all sent in similar reports that just go to show what an amazing spirit exists in the
Network. Never before has work looked like so much fun!
Back at HQ, we celebrated with an Anniversary Barbecue when Conference Organiser,
Emma Davis, kindly took some time out from arranging our massive Summer Sales event in
June, to set up an amazing buffet for 300 of us! The local press arrived in force as well to
report on this incredible business achievement – 85 years of success!
It would be impossible for us to print all your stories and pictures over the next four pages –
there just isn’t the space! However, we will be scrolling all of them across the screens of the
Birmingham NIA on Saturday 14 June and also including them in our special one-off

Changing your life
Congratulations to Platinum Premier Executive Jean Warrington who helped make our
Anniversary weekend even more special when she took Kleeneze to the airwaves.
Jean managed to address a huge audience when she spoke on the prestigious BBC
Southern Counties radio on Friday 9 May. The feature was one called Changing your Life and
during the ten minutes, Jean covered not only the benefits of Kleeneze, Direct Selling and
being your own boss, but also spoke about our 85th Anniversary and the Activity Challenge.

Hi Jayne,
What an absolutely incredible effect the Jan Ruhe training has had on my
business!!!!!I came away with a completely different belief to what I'd had before, and reallyconnected with my reasons for doing this business. As a result I've been getting up between 5 and 5.30am every day this week and putting activity in place. Have sponsored one new AS this week, and another will be registering on Tuesday...and that is just the beginning!!! Emily is like a different person after attending the training! She has become absolutely obsessed with activity!!!!!!! She will be Manager very shortly (she's noteven thinking about Assistant Manager, that's just something that will happen on her
way to Manager). The training has also impacted on her family life and her
relationship with her boys is fantastic, she has taught them to wake up as champions each morning and think big. At the moment her 5 year old wants to cycle to the North Pole...at least he's thinking big!!!!
Anyway, unsurprisingly I would definitely like to book tickets for next years event! At this moment there are 4 of us who have committed to coming, but I expect this to increase if there are any tickets nearer the time.

Jan Ruhe is inspiring and the weekend was awesome, it changed me all over again. This was my second Jan Ruhe training. The first time I went I was not in a good place in my life and my business and she changed me to the realisation that no one else could stop me from doing this , no one could steal my dreams however hard they tried. I came back from Jan Ruhe last year and started really putting in place foundations for my business AND for my own life, and I made several major changes in both my attitude and personal circumstances...As a result my business grew. THIS year, I went back to Jan and although I knew I’ve been working hard, focusing, developing my skills and practising all the way since last year, this time I was able to take even more of her awesome messages in and THIS time, it has changed me all over again, I now know that I’m

Hi Jan and Bill,
My husband Denzil and I cannot begin to articulate how our weekend with
you has altered our lives. (My husband is the guy that Jayne reckons looks
like your Bill.I could see a real similarity, but Bill is slimmer) What a
magical two days- we joined FLP last July and we are so so fortunate to be
in QLS. Philippa Symes is our upline. John Curtis is hers. I can see John
and Jayne now standing at the side of the room looking like proud parents
of their family.Wow, how can you ever explain to anyone about that feeling
of belonging. Thank you thank you thank you, for empowering us to just get
on and work. I mean this from the bottom of my heart-you are a true
inspiration. We were privileged to share with you those 2 days. We both
laughed, we both cried, we learnt, we shared, we sang, we danced, we
reflected, we made new friends, we thanked special people that had touched
our lives. We rejoiced in others recognition, as they deserve it so
much. Somehow those successful people , whose success seemed so far
removed-came closer. Yes we too can do this. After 34 years in Corporate
life, how I thank God that I have found Network Marketing. Today I
travelled quite a way to a 1 to 1-she didn't show "Ah Well!!!" Her loss-we

Dear Jan,

You changed me yesterday, just like Jayne said you would. I came up to you on Saturday and you signed my book and I told you I'd waited 3 years to see you due to living abroad last year and being on holiday the year before. I won't miss another year. Today I had such fun offering the Forever business to people and getting some very strange responses - there were a lot of "Oh Wells" going on but I did laugh about
it with Jim, my husband this evening. I also found the words to talk to
someone I really want to join the business who was not sure it was for
her. She finally agreed to come to a Business Presentation. I think I
would have let her go if I'd spoken to her on Friday, as I didn't know the
words and the passion to use to express myself. I am now sure I can do what
it takes to do this amazing business. I learned so much and built some new
friendships over the weekend that I know will last. I even started the
human chain in the room at the end of the day when we danced to "The Time
of my Life" and Caroline Woodward told me I now know how to touch 250
people just by touching one person! I wrote Jim a Sugar Gram last night
and told him things I find difficult to express in words. He just keeps
hugging me and telling me he loves me now so THANK YOU! I've always found
it difficult to say the words to people I love but now, slowly, I will
learn them. I will make mistakes and have regrets but I am going to keep
doing it until I can have the effect on people that you do. I am so
thankful I met you and you had this profound effect on me.

Wow what a weekend. You are amazing, you have totally changed my way of
thinking and you have set me on FIRE...I have not slept (for the better). I have had either the phone in my hand since I left yesterday, or the car keys in the ignition. I have registered 2 people today and had an amazing meeting with a lady who is starting a new Health & Beauty salon. My goodness, I have so much to thank you for.
You asked me to send you my brief story, I was a pub/winebar/resturant manager for 12 years working 80-90 hours per week. It was great at first as it was so sociable so I didn't mind, in fact it didn't seem like work. However, the typical tale, I met a great guy, fell in love, got married and had 2 amazing children. I never wanted children so my choice of career never bothered me as children never came into the equation. Isn't
it strange how our goals change over time, I had only been married a few
hours and I had the overwhelming urge to become a mother. So guess
what... I did! (Like you, when I know what I want, I get it!) My children were (regrettably) brought up by a stream of nannys. I always hated myself but I didn't know how to get out of the Pub trade, the trouble was, it was not only our jobs, income, it was also our home as the pubs always came with a flat/house etc.
So when I was introduced to the FLP product range 6 years ago, I fell in
love with them. We moved from Norwich to Bradford with a view to me getting away from the pub trade and starting FLP, but my husband had other plans. I was tied to
the kitchen more than ever and I was seeing my children less and less.
Exactly the opposite to what I had moved for! So one day I read a book
called WHAT MATTERS MOST! My goodness that was scary, I don't recommend
this book without a serious WARNING.... THIS BOOK WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE! The reason I say this is because as you will be aware, it makes you study
yourself, your life and my goodness do you find out what makes you
tick....VALUES! I found out that I loved my children more than life itself and I needed
them probably more than they needed me at that point, but more scary than
anything, I realised that my husband totally disrespected everysingle
value that I had. So like a dutiful wife, I tried to talk to him with no
avail.I finally turned around and said, look I want to do FLP I want out of the
pub, we need to get out of this trade and make a serious life for us and
the girls (our 2 amazing girls) and he didn't want to leave, so I did.
13 December 2003 I walked out of the pub, homeless and £10,000.00 in debt
on my credit card. Straight into the benefit trap (living on the state) no
self respect, no car. I hated myself for taking the girls away from their
dad, but I knew they would get over it as in my head, I had the vision of
a better life.

I have built my FLP business up very, very slowly as my girls are now 100%
my priority and I am their b4 school, after school etc, etc. After your training this weekend, I have spoken to my 2 children and explained that things are now going to change, they are my whole reason for living, but also for FLPing. We have already sat down as a family and planned our 5 year goals and the girls are just as excited as I am.. In fact I couldn't get a sitter for my 8 o'clock appointment tonight (made
last night) so I took them with me, and they made me so proud, they
endorsed everything I said (they are 9 and 10 years old) and this lady
joined my business.
WOW. Today I have had the best FLP day I have ever had and that is down to
finally having the courage to pay more for a training that I could afford,
but your books have always inspired me and made me laugh/cry and do things
I didn't know I could. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

BUt he best thing of all is the buzz flying around the company. I sent out
an e-mail to everyone when I got home at 11pm last night....and we now have
16 people coming next year!! Paulo says the phone hasn't stopped ringing!!
So far 4 of my direct downline...but it won't stop there!Two are also

In fourteen years in network marketing I have never experienced anything so incredible. Just to say an amazing thank you for your time yesterday. You've made me open my mind and re-look at myself something that I never thought I would do. I'm so excited to work my business and make it a success and I know that I'm going to succeed, because my belief is so strong and the belief in myself has been re-ignited, the flame is bright orange and red and glowing. I joined Forever last September and was very sceptical and gave my cousin Clare Cichocki a very hard time (Clare is Simone's friend and down line), I went to Budapest in February and it really changed my hopes & dreams, I know that soon I will be able to give up this 9-5 job (more like 8-7!) and say hello and welcome to my new life. I'm so excited I can't wait....
My dreams are big and beautiful and I can see those Alpine mountains and the green lush spring grass and smell & feel the dew as it brushes my legs as I walk up to the peak, with the sunlight on my face my heart is singing and my face is smiling....And I know that I'll be back to these mountains to enjoy the snow, the beautiful scenery and skiing down the mountain with my cousin and friends.... stopping at the lodge for a Gluvin ... taking in the tranquillity and peacefulness and enjoying the fun and camaraderie at the same time.
