Thanksgiving-07A Special Thanksgiving Message Hello Everyone! As we count our blessings for what we are thankful for as blessed Americans, Thanksgiving Day gives us cause for pause to thank those who have empowered us, taught us, laughed and cried with us, those who have helped us through a trial or two and to give thanks for ALL of our blessings. This has been one of the most fascinating years of my life. I have learned so many diffifult lessons that I never dreamed I would have to learn in life. All life is a lesson. Time does not wait for us. Do not wait until...it's about time to go for your dreams and goals. Do it now. Pull out all the stops! I am so thankful for our freedom as Americans and for our troops who are protecting us all over the world. I am so thankful for a loving family although I miss living near my children like mad, at least we can go to see them several times a year. This year we sadly said farewell to a dear, precious, joyfilled friend, Dorothy Wood. We are so thankful that we were priveleged to know her and we miss her so much. I am so thankful I was able to spend a few days in New York with my daughter Ashley. What a funfilled trip that was! I am so thankful for Bill Ruhe's team of cardiologists: Dr. Bud Fraser, Dr. Frank Laws, Dr. Siviteli and Dr. Delgado and the countless nurses and aids at Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs, Colorado and The Texas Heart Institute in Houston, Texas and in Wales that looked after Billy. I am so very thankful for our friend and neighbor and doctor, Dr. Bruce Bowen. This has been a difficult year of learning about Heart disease and coping with it and living with it, being a care giver and how precious every moment together is. A huge thank you to the Ruhe family, my family, my children and close friends for being with us during Bill's tumultous open heart sugery last summer. Special heartfelt thank you to my three precious children for being by my side through much of the ordeal we had to endure. Sarah, being able to be in Denver with me in January at the hospital, Ashley dropping what she was doing and overnight met me in Houston at the Texas Heart Institute and Clayton for coming home to Aspen to help us when we got Billy home from the hospital. I cherished my time with you. Thank you to Libby Moulison and Phillip and Amy Nunnelly for coming to Houston to spend time with me while Billy was recovering from the surgery. I am so thankful for our close dear friend, Doc Eason who kept our local friends up-to-date about Billy while we were gone. I am so extremely thankful for all of those on the PowerTeam in Discovery Toys who have such a huge commitment to our products and opportunity, year after year. Their passion and hunger for success keep me going. I am thankful for our precious close friends around the world and cannot even imagine life without you. I am so thankful for the UK QLS team, the UK Kleeneze team, Knowledge is King in England and the Russian teams for another amazing year of getting to contribute to their understanding of Network Marketing and life philosophies. Some in those distributors have become lifelong friends. I am so thankful for Levi who is my webmaster for designing a new beautiful website for me. I am thankful for all of our loyal and new customers for ordering so many of my books and CD's from www.janruhe.com. I am thankful for the opportunity to have co-authored Getting to the Top, my 11th book, with my daughter, Sarah White this year and to my wonderful graphic artist Sarah McKinley. I am so thankful that my 12th book, It's About Time will be at the printers before the end of the year. I am so thankful that Bill and I have had safe journeys to South America, Wales, England, Italy, Moscow and all over the USA this year. I cannot even begin to tell you how thankful I am for my Billy. He is one tough guy and he is my hero and even after 17 years, the love of my life. As we jet away today to Texas to be with my life long friend Libby and her husband Bill and the following day to Acapulco, Mexico for a week in the sunshine and stunning views and rejuvenation, you can be sure that I will be counting my blessings that you are a part of my life. Thank you for all you do to contribute to our lives being so rich with friends. Good heatlh, friends, family, memories and freedom, that's the key to a happy life. May you have the most wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving of your life. Have you counted how many Thanksgiving Days you have left to celebrate in your life? Make each one better than the last. Here is to our troops and a special prayer goes to bring Adam Nunnelly out of Iraq THIS SATURDAY safely all the way to Alaska. He will be home with his family for Christmas in Texas. What a Christmas that will be! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being a part of my life, |
