i dont suppose that being a small part of the Avon cosmetics network i
know all there is to know about network marketing. so, i am asking for
your help. I am currently ranked 5th in the UK on a 50/50 wieghting for
team growth and team sales. This means there 4 people above me and I need
to know how to be on TOP. i have just read through your webpage and i am
in ORE of you. Wow, i want to know all there is to know. i have just
read through all the Books you have on offer and i simply cant choose
which to read 1st? so i might just aswell purchase them all!!
i hope you can help me in some small way.
i have a family of 3 kids and a husband and both me and ny hubby do our
avon business together.

I loved your Party Plan book! I have been wanting to test the waters and that book is very motivating.

I wanted to ask your opinion about something. I have been having a burden and a passion for making women over 50 look awesome!!! I think we have a responsibility to be as dynamic as possible all the time, but even more so when we hit 50 because we tend to be more laid back. I am especially interested in carving out this niche market!!! I would love that a lot, focusing on women over 50...and there certainly is no shortage of them.

I am looking at getting happily involved in Jafra Cosmetics. How plausible would it be to carve out an over 50 target market? I wouldn't
be so rigid as not to include anyone else UNDER 50, but I am very passionate about how to treat skin over 50 and how to reinvent your makeup
style over 50. Would this be workable?????? If that would be a fabulous possibility, I could help millions of over 50 year olds look
awesome!!!!!!

Can I ask you just one question in this email? I know you get emails all the time, so I won't keep bothering you. In your MLM nuts and bolts, you say that you make 20 phone calls each day. Can I ask, is this to cold market, by that I mean do you simply go through the Yellow Pages cold, or are your calls following up previous contacts? It baffles me where you get 20 contacts from each day!!
This wasn't very clear from your books or CDs.

Just now checking emails. My husband Bill Ruhe is just now recovering from open heart surgery.

Yes, I made 20 phone calls a day without fail for about 5 years...I prospect heavily and have found the fortune is in the follow up. I ask everyone I know even somewhat for referrals and then I call the referrals and ask for referrals. I could still today after 27 years of being in the business get 20 phone numbers to call from noon to 5pm today. I probably give out at least 40-50 business cards still today and flyers and catalogs in the hundreds and thousands a month. Try and start more conversations and say:
MY COMPANY HAS GIVEN ME THE RESPONSIBILITY TO FIND 5 KEY PEOPLE TO JOIN THIS BUSINESS BY NOON ON FRIDAY....who do you know who might be interested?
I am looking for: sales people, teachers, enthusiastic people, people with a great attitude and people who would like to make some extra money....when YOU get serious, people will know it and feel it. The main thing is to stick with it!
